MEET THE team
behind the scenes.

He/Him
Creative Director - Game Theory
After working as a TV producer at Fox and Disney on series including “Family Guy” and “Bluey,” Tom followed his lifelong passion for gaming to Team Theorist in 2020. Since then, he’s helped create award-winning content, earning a Streamy Award for Best Writing and gleefully embracing the madness of video games along the way.

He/Him
Creative Director - Film Theory
Forrest Lee is a big fan of movies and overthinks them for a living. With a career in digital media spanning more than a decade, Lee first joined Theorist Media in 2014 and was part of a team that won the Streamy Award for Best Gaming Channel in 2016 and the Streamy Award for Best Editing in 2017.

He/Him
Creative Director - Food Theory
Before joining Theorist in 2023, Santi was a television executive working across a range of scripted series, including “The Tourist” and “The Bridge” during his time at HBO Max, as well as projects in collaboration with DC Entertainment and Fremantle. At Theorist, he is driving the next phase of Food Theory’s growth, weaving in his Argentinian and international background to expand its audience, sharpen its creative voice, and deepen its cultural impact.

She/Her
Creative Director - Style Theory, Manager of Business Development
Amy has been with Theorist since 2018, rising from channel manager to brand manager before becoming the creative director and host of Style Theory, a channel she helped conceptualize and launch. Style Theory reached 2.5 million subscribers in its first year and has become a platform supporting the launch of other high-impact initiatives like Creators in Fashion, the first Creator-led fashion runway. Amy won a Streamy Award for producing Game Theory’s 2021 St. Jude Charity Livestream, and she continues to lead other key growth initiatives for Team Theorist in her new role as Manager of Business Development.

She/They
Creative Director - GT Live
Ash’s journey with Theorist began off-screen in 2022, but it didn’t stay behind the scenes for long. On day two, Ash jumped into off-camera co-hosting, improvising live and quickly becoming a key creative voice before becoming on-camera host full time. Since stepping into the host role, Ash has brought a signature blend of spontaneity, experimentation, and improv-fueled chaos to the channel. Along the way, Ash led the launch of GTLive on Twitch, developed new live formats, took to the live stage at VidCon, and steered countless bizarre (and beloved) livestream challenges to evolve and grow the channel.

She/Her
Senior Director, Strategy & Operations
Gwen is a digital video veteran with 15 years of industry experience and over 20 years in entertainment. With a background in growing channels and businesses both big and small, joining Theorist has been a dream come true. A relaxing day for her is a spreadsheet, a business plan, some YouTube data - and her team to nerd out over it all with.

She/Her
Senior Director, Editorial
Melissa is an editorial leader and storyteller who works with Theorist’s all-star team of writers and creative visionaries. She holds a Ph.D. in Literature and brings 15+ years of experience shaping content that ranges from academic essays to viral shorts and No. 1 iTunes documentaries. She loves blending deep research and cultural analysis with YouTube pragmatism (translation: the narrative arc matters, but so does the hook). Favorite part of the job? Finding great creatives and helping them shine — also, not quite believing they pay her to do this.

He/Him
CEO
Clemens joined Lunar in 2022 and quickly fell down the wonderfully strange rabbit hole that is Theorist culture. Before joining the team, he earned law degrees from UCLA and the University of Vienna, and he practiced international law in his home country, Austria. He never expected his career path to include debating internet lore and learning the significance of Prime cake, but he’s fully embraced it. What surprised him most about joining Team Theorist wasn’t just the creativity of the content but the passion of the community behind it. A big believer in listening to talented people and giving creative teams the freedom to flourish, he approaches leadership with a simple philosophy: the people closest to the work usually know best. Outside of work, he loves movies, musicals, and serving as a kids ski instructor.

It/She
Production Manager
Fisher is a lifelong creative with an extensive background in YouTube content creation. It served as Technical Director for Rooster Teeth Productions, shaping and directing shows like “Best Friends Today”, “RT Podcast” and “Always Open”. At Theorist, she serves as Production Lead for all shoots large and small and coordinates our award-winning post team to ensure theories hit your subscription feed on time every week.

She/Her
Editor
Jerika started at Theorist in 2021, filling in a temporary position as a thumbnail artist before moving on to become an editor. She is known for her sassy, purple-haired, cat-ear chibi, that sometimes appears in episodes by teasing and bullying the different hosts.

She/Her
Content Manager
Bry is a long-time fan of Theorist who joined the team in 2025! Before joining Theorist, Bry was working in social media marketing and public relations for a few years while also making YouTube videos of her own. At Theorist, she works as a Content Manager where she uploads all the videos for Game, Film, Food, and Style Theory! She also leads our packaging team in creating awesome thumbnails for all our videos.

He/Him
Lead Sound Engineer
Yosi began his time with Theorists in 2015 as a freelance audio editor. As Theorists grew and expanded, so did his role. Today Yosi is the Lead Sound Engineer: He oversees the editing and engineering of the recordings from the hosts, the scoring of Theory videos, and the engineering of the audio captured in live-action segments. Yosi is a movie nerd, a lover of YouTube and online video, a regular Overwatch player, a relentless optimist, and parent of one antisocial cat named Ramen.

They/Them
Senior Channel Manager
Soups started at Theorist in 2025 after working in the gaming and YouTube space for almost 10 years. Having worked on live productions, game development, and influencer management, Soups is our internet frog that dips into every pond at Theorist!

He/Him
Editor
I’m Jay! Been making things wiggle onscreen at Theorist since 2022. I love anything horror.

He/Him
Writer
Before joining Team Theorist in 2023, Eddie was a Sound Designer for National Geographic. Eddie began his Theorist journey after binge-watching “Paw Patrol” with his daughter and, being a fan of Theorist, began to ask questions about the show and pitched Film Theory’s first “Paw Patrol” theory! After that, Eddie began writing theories for other kids IP and started branching into other franchises across the other channels like Minecraft, Zelda, and Welcome Home. Eddie has now written over 100 episodes across the four channels.

She/Her
Lead Writer, Game Theory and Film Theory
Jessica joined Team Theorist as the Lead Writer for Game and Film Theory at the end of 2025, but she’s been a fan of Theorist since the very beginning. She’s been writing professionally for the last 5 years, all while juggling odd jobs like being a production assistant for TV or an entertainment manager at a theme park. So far, working at Theorist has been her oddest job yet, but that’s why it’s also her favorite job ever.

He/Him
Lead Writer, Food Theory and Style Theory
Mike is a lifelong lover of YouTube and the Theorist channels. Prior to joining Theorist, Mike spent half a decade as a high school biology and environmental science teacher. In 2022, Mike posted one of his personal YouTube videos to the Theorist subreddit. Tom saw his post, asked him to audition to be a freelance writer, and the rest is history. He was hired as the first full-time writer for Theorist in 2023 and was promoted to Lead Writer of Style and Food Theory in 2025. To date, Mike has written on over 150 episodes across all four channels.

He/Him
Lead Editor
Andrew is a multimedia engineer with a passion for content creation. He is in charge of live-action projects for Food Theory and Style Theory! He enjoys learning the latest VFX techniques and can do over a dozen versions of the blue box mac and cheese.

He/Him
Lead Editor
Ty is a passionate editor and motion graphics animator. As a long-time Theorist fan, he used to watch the FNAF theories while sitting in his high school editing class. This unproductive use of classroom time paid off when he joined the team as a freelance editor in 2019. He was hired fresh out of film school without prior work experience. Since the start, this team has been a family as well as a constant source of inspiration. After years of growth, in 2022, he became full-time, and by 2024, he was promoted to be the Lead Editor of Game Theory and Film Theory.

She/Her
People Manager
Rachel came on the Theorist team in early 2023 as the HR & Office Manager. Prior to joining Theorist, she got her start in live news production before shifting to operations. She feels most passionate about supporting employees to reach their creative potential by ensuring their needs are met and that they feel heard in their workplace. Rachel has made appearances in various Food and Style Theory videos, and holds the unofficial record for the loudest burp.

She/They
Art Director/Thumbnail Artist
DasGnomo (Nicole) joined Theorists Media in March of 2023, and her first on-camera appearance was on the Food Theory video “I Cooked 100-Year-Old Family Recipes!”. She’s been doing art since she was 3 years old; has over 20 years of professional experience; and, under the TCG and board game industries, has worked and collaborated with brands such as Capcom, Wacom, Nintendo, Bandai Namco, and Toei Animation and for IPs like My Hero Academia, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and Guilty Gear. She became an (Eldritch Horror) Art Director since the LoreFi project and continues to be a thumbnail artist for all the channels, creating unhinged and memeable art that even Markiplier has noted on social media. She’s the origin of the “Eat a Horse” thumbnail, Matt kissing Freddy “chaos ending” meme, Thickachu, and other hilarious BTS stuff.
